Bubblerama is an animated mini-series mainly intended for children from three to six years of age. The action of Bubblerama takes place in the kitchen of a modern family's private house. In the kitchen, something is constantly bubbling, boiling, and baking. It bubbles and boils not only in the literal sense when soup is boiling on the stove but also in the figurative sense when the most everyday life situations are passionately dealt with. However, when all the people have left the kitchen, life in it does not stop. On the contrary, everything truly starts to happen only then, as the things in the kitchen come to life. They discuss among themselves everything they have heard and seen. They argue with each other and make up again, they help one another, and teach each other something new.

MAIN CHARACTERS

THE SPONGE

The mother, the protector of everything, the seeker of harmony, the hardworking one, diligent, but completely unable to relax, believing that all love comes through work. Of course, above all, she values cleanliness and order. She is new to this kitchen, so not everything here is familiar and known to her. But together with the other characters, she will quickly get to know everything and learn.

    THE KITCHEN

      TECHNOLOGIES

This project uses three types of innovative 3D animation techniques (unique inertial measure-ment units lattice plane, Mars Vive motion sensors, and Unreal Engine 5), that have been synthesised in a unified process, therefore achieving a modern and quality result, and speeding up and simplifying the animation production cycle as much as possible.

        Motion capture Session

The video showcases how professional puppeteers work with puppets equipped with inertial and optical sensors. The puppets' movements are captured in real time through specialized software and recorded within the Unreal Engine environment. In Unreal Engine, the movements are not recorded as images but as data, allowing for the placement of desired cameras, environments, materials, and other elements to achieve the intended result.
